The Tata Xenon 2.2 is a bakkie manufactured by Tata Motors, which is an Indian based firm which was established in the year 1945. The company first produced its first locomotive in 1954 in partnership with Daimler-Benz AG; which partnership ended in 1969. It is also rated IndiaÃ¢Â€Â™s largest automobile company and has been a leading player in the manufacture of commercial vehicles and it stands among the top three automobile makers of passenger vehicles. Tata is placed as the worldÃ¢Â€Â™s 4th largest truck manufacturer. The Tata Xenon was first released in 2006 as the Tata TL and in the year 2007 it was name tagged the Tata Xenon. This first model came with a 2.0 liter common rail turbo diesel engine and made use of a five speed manual transmission.

The bakkie comes with a general warranty & anti-corrosion of 3 year/ 90,000km, a service plan of 5 years/ 100,000km. A Roadside Assistance plan is also on offer, for 3 years and unlimited mileage.
