Corsa Utility

If affordability and practicality are what you’re after, look no further than the Corsa Utility. With no less than seven petrol and three diesel derivatives, the Corsa Utility is no stranger to hard work with its 1690mm long loadbox. Even the 1.4 Base model is capable of a 680kg payload (the 1.8 Base can carry 840kg), while an impressive ground clearance of 214mm means that few places are inaccessible to this popular work horse.


GWM Single Cab

Need something to do your dirty work? The GWM Workhorse will rise to the challenge every time. South Africa’s most affordable one-ton pick up, the Workhorse is a hard-working wonder that will take on dirt roads, construction sites or whatever you throw its way. If you’re looking for affordability and luxuries, the GWM Single Cab 4x2 is just what you need with its comfortable cabin offering electric windows and mirrors, standard aircon and a CD/MP3 player.
GWM’s Single Cab 4x4 is a different breed of animal. It draws its strength from either a 2.2 MPI petrol or 2.8 TDI diesel engine, with a spacious load bin to do all your dirty work. Move in behind the steering wheel and you can almost imagine sitting in your favourite arm chair, while conquering off-road playgrounds.



GWM Steed Double Cab

The GWM Steed, whether you opt for the 4x2 or the go anywhere ability of the 4x4 TCi, attracts plenty of stares with its handsome expression of sportiness. Hino 700 Series

With the Hino 700 Series, toughness meets innovation, providing no-nonsense, heavy-duty capacity with up to 450hp and 2 157Nm of torque. Using common rail technology, the 700 Series consumes less fuel, has reduced noise and exhaust emissions and cuts down on maintenance costs. Safer, more comfortable cab design makes for easier long distance driving, with features such as three -point seat belts, aircon, power windows, plus a full-flat seat and bed.

The KB 300 Extended Cab boasts the same 120kW, 360Nm turbo-charged power plant as its Double Cab brother, also in 4x2 and 4x4 versions. Safety specs include ABS and EBD, with driver and front passenger airbags, while interior luxury includes leather and cloth combination trim, power windows and mirrors, aircon, cruise control and a radio/CD/MP3 sound system with CD changer control.



Mazda BT-50 Double Cab

With the power to tackle the roughest playground or toughest job, the BT-50 delivers a dynamic Zoom-Zoom driving experience. To make the most of your adventure, the BT-50 is offered with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission, both tuned to match the high performance of the 3.0-litre CRDi diesel engine.
The latter features 380Nm of torque in a linear curve from low speeds, with 115kW output throughout its operating range.
The 2.5-litre TDi turbo-diesel engine is no slouch either with 257Nm of torque, while the 2.6-litre EFi petrol engine holds its own with 92kW of power and a respectable 206Nm of torque, plus the option of 4x4 (not offered in the 2.5 TDi model).



Mitsubishi Triton

The Mitsubishi Triton has been designed with distinctive styling, an innovative interior and with a stable, road-hugging construction that allows you to go wherever you wish, be it the city streets or the rugged outdoors. The ClubCab is the perfect compromise between working hard, working smart and doing it in style and comfort. Safety is a given in this turf-tough bakkie, featuring airbags and crumple zones. The Triton ClubCab also features the smallest turning circle in its class and excellent all-round vision for greater maneouvrability. With powerful Club Cab diesel engines offered in the 2.5Di-D 4x2 (100kW, 314Nm) and 3.2Di-DC 4x4 (118kW, 343Nm) models, the 3.5MPI 4x2 petrol version delivers a punchy 136kW, together with 303Nm of torque.
The Double Cab offers a slightly wider range, including the 2.4MPI 4x2 petrol model and the 3.2Di-DC 4x4 Auto. The 3.5MPI Double Cab is offered only in 4x4 with a little extra torque at 309Nm.


Nissan NP200

Reliable, durable, safe, economical, comfortable and even more practical, the Nissan NP200 is indeed ‘no ordinary bakkie’. With two 1.5-litre diesel models from which to choose and three 1.6-litre petrol versions, including the 8-valve base model and two 16-valve engines, the NP200 certainly lacks nothing in customer options. The diesel’s seriously impressive performance offers up a good deal of pull from its 200Nm of torque at just 1 900rpm, while barely sipping 5.3-litres/100km over a combined cycle.
The NP200 also boasts largest payload in its segment (800kg), along with biggest loadbox volume (1.25m³) and longest loadbody (1807mm).



Nissan NP300 Hardbody

The Nissan Hardbody is legendary the world over. Globally referred to as the NP300, the improved model NP300 Hardbody remains reliable, durable and now more affordable than ever.
When you need a proven vehicle for commercial use, it’s hard to beat the Nissan NP300 Hardbody Workhorse range. Available in 4x2 and 4x4, the 2.0-litre Single Cab petrol models range in load capacity from 1101kg to 1359kg, while the 98kW, 304Nm 2.5 TDi diesel derivatives offer up similar figures, with the option of a 4x2 Double Cab.
The Nissan NP300 Hardbody Hi-Rider range provides a resilient, never-say-die attitude, geared to haul your enterprise to new heights during the week, and anything you wish on weekends. Powerful 105kW 2.4-litre petrol engines are available in 4x2 single and double cab derivatives, with a 4x4 option for the latter. The muscular 304Nm 2.5TDi 4x2 diesel engine is also available in single and double cab options.



Nissan Navara

The Nissan Navara continues to lead the field in both Double Cab and King Cab segments, according to South African motoring media.
Named ‘Best Double Cab’ for 2010 by Wiel magazine, the new range Navara, says Wiel, offers superior quality and accessibility. Bakkie & Truck and Cars in Action magazines awarded the new Navara King Cab the title of ‘Best Bakkie’ for 2010 - beating out the competition from across the full spectrum of the LCV market.
The 4x2 2.5dCi diesel engine provides 106kW, with 356Nm, while the 4x4 2.5dCi diesel derivative delivers 128kW with 403Nm. Packing a massive punch is the 198kW, 385Nm 4.0 V6 petrol power plant.
With 11 different specification derivatives, the Navara offers something for everyone.
