5 cars we can't wait to drive

WE HAVE compiled a list of the Top Five cars that we just can't wait to drive. Some of these will be arriving pretty soon, like the Lexus RC and some will only arrive early next year. Justin wanted to have the new Toyota Hilux on the list but he seems to be the only one here in the office who wants to drive it, so we left it out.

Ford Mustang:

The way Mustangs look, drive and sound, are key to the visceral experience that makes drivers just want to get in and hit the road. With more options to choose from, there is a Mustang to fit any lifestyle. The upgraded V6 and V8 are joined by an all-new 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine that brings state-of-the-art technology to Mustang.

Ford Mustang GT continues with the latest edition of the throaty 5.0-litre V8, now featuring an upgraded valve-train and cylinder heads that yield more than 529Nm of torque. A new intake manifold improves low-speed breathing for better fuel economy, idle stability and emissions.

Ford Focus RS:

The all-new Ford Focus RS made its global public début at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The innovative Ford performance all-wheel-drive system, delivers class-leading cornering speed, thrilling performance and unbridled driving enjoyment.

With a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, the high-performance road car offers the most powerful Ford RS braking system ever. Its dramatic exterior design offers optimised aerodynamics and cooling, with zero lift and nine percent less drag than the previous Focus RS.

Audi RS3:

Audi presents the new RS3 Sportback, the most powerful compact car in the premium segment. With its powerful five-cylinder turbocharged engine, the five-door model accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds, and its top speed can be increased to 280km/h upon request.

The multiple award-winning 2.5 TFSI produces 270kW and 465Nm of torque in the new RS3 Sportback.

BMW 7-Series:

With the new 2016 BMW 7 Series, BMW has redefined what an exclusive, luxurious driving experience looks like in contemporary, pioneering form. Groundbreaking technologies in the areas of lightweight design, powertrains, chassis, operating systems, intelligent connectivity and interior ambience, underline its mission to bring together unbeatable driving pleasure and long distance comfort in a luxury sedan. The handing over of the baton from one generation to the next at the top end of BMW's model line-up sees the brand presenting a raft of innovations unmatched by any of its rivals.

Lexus RC:

The luxury sport coupé category is about to get a lot hotter. The 2015 Lexus RC 350 melds audacious design and high performance like no Lexus before it. Engineered as a stand-alone model, rather than as a two-door derivative of a sedan, the RC delivers all the performance, individuality, unique luxury and technology that its body promises. Lexus expects the RC to attract the next generation of luxury buyers and those new to the brand.
