Several companies will be unveiling their 2015 model ranges at this year’s show and with Honda once again participating it looks to be the best show in many years in terms of brand representation and the number of exhibitors.
There will also be a number of activities such as the enduro racing on the 4x4 track. Most of the makers offering enduro models in their range are expected to have riders taking part in the high speed “demonstrations” with obstacles including logs and boulders to put the accent on quick rider reactions and nimble motorcycles.
It’s not only motorcycles though, the Johannesburg Boat Show and Outdoor Lifestyle Show is also happening at the same time for the third successive year. The show starts on Friday, 8th August and runs until Sunday, 10th August. Tickets are available at the Expo Centre gates, or from Computicket. Prices: Adults R80, R40 for visitors from 12 to 16 years of age, while those under 12 are admitted free.
Gates open at 9am each day and close at 5pm on Friday and Saturday although visitors only have to leave the facility by 6pm. Sunday sees gates closing at 4pm with the show closing at 5pm.
