Audi adds BiTurbo to A7 range

07.08.2013

AUDI SOUTH AFRICA is introducing an additional diesel engine to its A7 range.

The Audi A7 Sportback is the first Audi to be fitted with this all-new biturbo diesel powertrain, which produces 230kW and a colossal 650Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and consumes a claimed 6.3 litres/100km on the combined cycle. It also features efficiency technology such as the recuperation system, thermal management and start-stop system as standard.

This biturbo may also be the best-sounding diesel of all time. Audi has integrated a sound actuator in the exhaust system to make the noises coming out of the back sound as good as the car looks.

The A7 BiTurbo comes with a number of standard features, like 19-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, Bluetooth, climate control, cruise control, Milano leather seats, navigation, park distance control, a sports suspension, electric everything and many more.

Pricing for this model is confirmed at R855 000, inclusive of all taxes and Audi’s 5-year/100 000km Freeway Plan.
