Claimed to be a sportier version of the next generation Q3, the Q4 will follow the recently previewed Q8 as the sixth model in Ingolstadt ever expanding SUV line-up, with a seventh version, the Q5-based Q6, expected to premiere in due course.
Meanwhile, Audi Sport Director and former Lamborghini boss, Stefan Winkelman, told media at the Geneva Motor Show that the brand will roll out an eight new models by 2018, likely to include the RS3 sedan, revived RS4 Avant, RS5 Coupe and Sportback, RS6 Avant, RS7 Sportback, a revised version of the RS Q3 and a production version of the RS Q8 concept.
"Audi Sport is a great brand. It’s very focused, so we are having a lot to do. We have a lot of cars in the pipeline. We want to become a global player, we want to have a pride, a proper presence around the world and for sure we have to establish the brand as a real brand, and it should be known to everyone," Winkelman was quoted as saying.
