China unveils Hyundai’s ix25 concept

THE 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition has seen the introduction of the Hyundai ix25 concept, a small-sized SUV.

The ix25 concept is based on Hyundai’s evolved Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy. The ix25 will mainly target the young generation who seek style and practicality at the same time.  It will come equipped with the Nu 2.0 engine. Its dimensions of 4 270 mm long, 1 780 mm wide, 1 630 mm high with and a wheelbase of 2 590 mm makes it a similar size to the Ford Ecosport.

Hyundai Motor expects the ix25 to complete its competitive SUV line-up in South Africa, from ix25, ix35 to Santa Fe aiming to secure a position in the rapidly growing SUV market. The “i” in ix25 represents the “inspiring, intelligent and innovative” characteristics of the young generation.
