Coupe style for i20

HYUNDAI has unveiled a coupé version of the upcoming i20. This will be the Korean brand’s first foray into the three-door B-segment and is intended to attract young, lifestyle-oriented consumers.

New Generation i20 Coupé has its own unique silhouette. The raked A-, B-, and C-pillars are different from the five-door model, providing the coupé with a more dynamic profile.

It too features the reverse hexagonal front grille in a new front bumper while the flared wheel arches accentuate the rear quarter of the model. There’s also a new rear bumper design behind which sits a 336-litre boot.

To further differentiate the three-door model, Hyundai has introduced a unique tangerine orange exterior colour and a matching orange interior colour option for the coupé. It also features a new 17-inch alloy wheel design and new rear spoiler.

Powering the coupé is a range of motors that go from 62kW to 74kW. Among these is a new 1.4-litre 'Kappa' petrol engine as well as a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine.
