F trademark application hints at faster Lexus LC

Lexus has reportedly hinted at introducing a high-performance F version of its recently launched LC luxury coupe, following a trademark application in Europe.

According to, the confirmation supports previous remarks by Toyota President, Akio Toyoda, that the LC would join the GS and RC in having a halo model as part of its F sub-range. While little info is known at this stage, expect the LC F to feature revised looks and aerodynamics, as well as a rumoured twin-turbo V8 instead of normally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 currently used in the RC F and GS F.
