The standard V2 has been one of the more affordable cars on the market at R99 995, while the V2 # LIKE will retail for R109 995. However, this model includes 15-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, iGO8 satellite navigation with touchscreen functionality, as well as a DVD/MP3/CD player for the audio system, which also has upgraded five-inch Sony speakers.
The V2 range is powered by a 67kW/120Nm 1.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which is claimed to use 6.5litres/100km. The model also comes with a three-year/100 000km warranty and a three-year/ 45 000km service plan, together with one-year’s roadside assistance.
Other features include, air conditioning, electric windows all around, electrically-adjustable side mirrors, remote control central locking, a 320-litre boot, remote fuel flap opener, four-way adjustable driver’s seat, dual glovebox compartments, storage space and cup holder in door panels, as well as an interior reading light.
The V2 also has driver and passenger air bags, ABS brakes with electronic brake force distribution, side impact bars, a safety cell bodyshell, environmentally-friendly and fire-retardant interior trim, headlamp levelling adjustment, LED rear brake lights with a third high level mounted brake light on the spoiler and front and rear fog lamps.
