Forthcoming Opel Grandland X spied

31.01.2017

Rendered in a number of images towards the end of last year, spy images of the new Opel Grandland X undergoing winter weather testing has surfaced online.

Although heavy disguised with the only (slight) visual reference to it being a member of the Blitz family coming in the form of the Insignia derived headlights, the Grandland X will reportedly use the same platform as the new Peugeot 3008 and slot in above the recently unveiled Crossland X as Opel's flagship crossover.

While little else is known at this stage, UK media reports suggest the Grandland X will feature a different interior to that of the 3008, and optional four-wheel drive on some models unlike the Frenchman's front-wheel drive only layout.

Expect to Grandland X to possibly make its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
