The concept of an exclusive shop, dedicated to motorsport aficionados, was already launched in 2011 in the picturesque Monaco, home of arguably the most famous Grand Prix in the world. Monaco is also the republic of style and exclusivity and now thanks to the GP Group Limited, we can all have a slice of that renowned panache, right here at home.
Brushing shoulders with the rich and famous during the launch, guests were also treated to the unveiling of the 2015 Yamaha R1M, a futuristically styled superbike, boasting a blistering 197 horsepower and 112Nm of torque from its 1.0-litre engine.
Giving any pure-blooded Formula One fanatic a true fix of ecstasy was the 2002 Formula One world championship winning car of Michael Schumacher, which is displayed larger than life inside the shop.
On the two-wheeler walk of life, an exact replica of the blue, black and white colour-schemed Yamaha of Italian superstar, Valentino Rossi, was displayed, much to everyone’s delight.
The motorsport boutique offers everyone from admirer, to hobby racing driver, an opportunity to show their affinity with merchandise available from Ferrari all the way to the other end of the field, with gear from BMW’s motorsport division. Crash helmets from various Formula One heroes are also on display with several individual collections to choose from.
Whether it’s an original racing shirt, cap, jacket or key ring you’re after – the GP Store ambience is sure to make any fast-life fan feel right on track with a unique sporting experience.
