Now, in the UK a 1992 model is up for auction at a Race Retro Sale at Silverstone Auctions in Warwickshire on 21st and 22nd February. This car is unique because it has only covered 31 miles from new, yes, under 100km on the clock for a 1992 model.
The car is estimated to sell at between £90 000 to £110,000 or R1.5-1.9 million. The car has only been driven on the road once and has remained in perfect storage conditions for the last 22 years.
The car is white with the iconic Martini drinks company livery, the car is one of a limited run of just 400 that were produced to celebrate the Integrale’s fifth consecutive World Rally manufacturers’ championship for Lancia.
The Evoluzione model featured a wider track at both the front and rear than earlier Deltas. In order to fit the track into the bodywork, the wide wheel arches were extended even further. Its 2.0-litre 16V turbo engine was remapped to deliver 157kW, which meant the car could travel five percent quicker on both asphalt and gravel rally stages.
