The Complete Care package comes with all the brand’s models and includes: a warranty of up to five years or 120 000km for new buyers, free 24/7/365 Roadside Assistance, maintenance servicing by GM-certified technicians, Customer Care Centre support and Complete Service Mobile Apps.
Not much has changed with the introduction of the programme as these items have been available previously. However, there’s a renewed commitment by the brand to after-sales service, which is encouraging. The call centre has been improved to deal with customer queries/complaints more effectively, the roadside assistance is more comprehensive and each GM brand now has a smartphone application that allows you to keep track of vehicle information.
The company is also committing to continuously improving its dealer network locally, with all dealers being required to meet certain requirements. GMSA also mentioned that it provides some 40 000 hours per year for extensive training of service personnel, which includes technicians to non-technical employees.
