Hyundai previews next Santa Fe in new sketches

Due to make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March but with select details set to be revealed from next month, Hyundai has continued its teaser campaign of the new Santa Fe by releasing a pair of exterior sketches.

As per previous reports, the front borrows heavily from the controversially styled Kona with a two-piece headlight arrangement, honeycomb cascading grille and at the rear, new sweptback taillights seemingly derived from the Skoda Kodiaq.

Reportedly expected to be both longer and wider than the current model, the new Santa Fe's interior will more than likely mirror those of Hyundai's current models and perhaps even the company's Genesis luxury division, while powertrains will consists of petrol and diesel engines and possibly a plug-in hybrid. It will also offer a choice of five or seven seats as well as front and all-wheel drive.
