Jeep Wrangler shows its inside

09.11.2017

Just over a week after revealing official exterior images of the new JL Jeep Wrangler, Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has now released interior shots ahead of the new model's world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.

Now boasting a flatter design with the same chunky three-spoke steering wheel as the Grand Cherokee, the more modern layout gains a central TFT instrument cluster display, body coloured dashboard finish, round air vents, an entirely new centre facia housing an integrated UConnect touchscreen display, new climate control switches and red surrounds for the diff-lock controls.

The biggest surprise though is that the Wrangler retains the second gear lever low range selector despite the myriad of buttons, while another note is that it will be offered with a manual gearbox in addition to the rumoured eight-speed automatic. Final spec and indeed technical details are still unknown, but expect details to emerge over the coming days and weeks.
