Limited edition Lotus Evora Sport 410 brings classic F1 livery to the US

07.04.2017

As a nod to arguably its most iconic racing livery, Lotus has launched a limited edition version of the Evora Sport 410, specifically for the North American market.

Finished in black and gold reminiscent of the John Player Special Team Lotus Formula One cars of the mid-70s and early 80s, the Evora Sport 410 GP Edition is the result of Louts' in-house Exclusive program and will be limited to just five units priced $110 000 (R1 510 289).

Already billed as the fastest and most focused Evora ever made, the standard Sport 410 uses the regular Evora 400 as a base, but tips the scales at 60 kg less for a total of 1 320 kg or 1 370 kg when fully fuelled and equipped with a range of optional extras.

Powered by the familiar Toyota-derived 3.5-litre supercharged V6 and available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox, the Sport 410 develops 306 kW and 410 Nm of torque which, combined with the reduction in weight, allows it to reach 100 km/h from rest in 4.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 305 km/h.

Aside from the GP Edition, only 150 Evora Sport 410's will be produced with prices starting at the Rand / Dollar equivalent of R1 430 655.
