Limited numbers of iconic MV Agusta AGO lands in SA

03.09.2014

MV AGUSTA SA is offering a limited number of Ago F 800 to consumers who’d be interested in purchasing one.

With only 300 being produced, it’s a rare collector’s item as all the units come with a special certificate signed by Giacomo Agostini himself, providing additional proof of the uniqueness and originality of this latest MV Agusta legend. Each unit is also numbered and signed by the famous Agostini and are available in the Agusta race colours.

These motorcycles made Giacomo Agostini a motorcycling legend and have now re-emerged from the past thanks to the most spectacular MV Agusta ever… the F3 800 AGO. This unique machine is packed with unsurpassed technology, including the MV Agusta performance and handling, along with the additional AGO limited model features and styling.

Electronic engine and traction control play a pivotal role, ensuring the F3 800 AGO delivers tip-top performance at all times. Practical handlebar controls allow the rider to choose from three different pre-set power delivery modes. And those riders - hungry for more personalised performance - will be delighted to hear that the F3 800 AGO allows configuration of the control parameters, including the traction control settings.

The use of carbon-fibre on the front and rear fenders give the F3 800 AGO real racing panache, making the bike even lighter and enhancing the already excellent power-to-weight ratio.

Another key contribution comes from the gorgeous forged rims, which save a full two kilograms compared to the standard version. A sports-style plate holder emphasises the flowing lines of the tail, underlining its pure racing pedigree.

The F3 800 AGO is unique in every detail. A silver plaque attached to the steering yoke shows a progressive number, certifying the F3 800 AGO is one of MV Agusta's most exclusive creations; each one carries the personal autograph of 15-times world champion Giacomo Agostini on the fuel tank.
