Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe spied cold weather testing

Recently bolstered in South Africa with the addition of three more models including the AMG-43, spy shots have captured the coupe version of Mercedes-AMG's GLC 63 undergoing cold weather testing in Sweden.

Although sporting substantial levels of camouflage around the front and rear bumper, including the now trademark AMG GT R-like grille, the coupe will more than likely share the same underpinnings and tech with is normal GLC sibling, also currently undergoing testing.

Similarly, both are expected to use the same 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 doing duty in AMG-C63, with outputs of 350 kW and 650 N.m in the standard model and 375 kW and 700 N.m in the more powerful S. A seven-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch will most likely send power to all four wheels via Benz's 4Matic all-wheel drive system.

Sales are forecasted to start in the second half of next year.
