Mercedes-Benz CLS rendered as Shooting Brake and AMG 63

Days after the wraps came off the third generation Mercedes-Benz CLS at the Los Angeles International Auto Show, Czech-based X-Tomi Design has revealed two renderings depicting what a AMG 63 and estate-style Shooting Brake could look like.

Although Mercedes-Benz is not expected to introduce a Shooting Brake CLS like the previous generation model any soon, a performance AMG will be added next year albeit in six-cylinder 53 guise to prevent clashing with the AMG-GT.

The depictions due look production ready though with the AMG finished in the same Green Hell Magno paint as the AMG GT R, in addition to the same alloy wheels and yellow brake calipers. More stylish than its predecessor, the Shooting Brake render arguably rates as the CLS's finest moment, making the lack of a production model even more disappointing.
