Mercedes-Benz features at Scottburgh Classic Car Show

The Mercedes-Benz will be the featured marque at this year's Scottburgh Classic Car Show on Sunday, 17 July, at the Scottburgh High School.

The origins of Mercedes-Benz go back over 100 years and it has become one of the most recognized automotive brands worldwide. Cars from several provinces are expected to converge on Scottburgh that weekend for the show and the large display of Mercedes-Benz vehicles will take pride of place in front of the grandstand.

Although only pre-1975 cars and motorbikes will be allowed onto the showfield, Mercedes-Benz clubs will be permitted to bring later models provided they display a "Special Invitation" disc. These discs will also be issued to modern supercars and special interest models by the organizers prior to the show.

The event is sponsored by the Rising Sun community newspaper. Entrance to the Show is R30 adults, R10 pensioners and scholars, children under 12 free.  These rates have not been increased since the show's inception in 2010.
