Nissan celebrates 50 years of the Z-car with limited-run 370Z

Expected to make its official debut at the New York Auto Show next week, Nissan has unveiled a special edition version of its almost 10 year old 370Z in celebration of the iconic Z-car's 50th anniversary.

Reportedly set to become available in the United States only, the Heritage Edition uses the regular 370Z coupe as a base but adds a set of unique graphics, slightly revised front and rear lights, chrome door handles and a choice of two Heritage colours; Chicane Yellow with black mirrors and yellow interior trim and Magnetic Grey with gloss silver graphics and yellow interior finish.

Aside from an Exedy high-performance clutch, the 370Z retains the familiar 3.7-litre VQ37VHR V6 as before with outputs of 245 kW and 365 Nm of torque. Transmissions are made up of a six-speed manual with SyncroRev matching or a torque-converter seven-speed automatic.
