Prepare for another fuel hike in July

ON THE back of the previous fuel price increase, South Africans will have to prepare for yet another increase in July.

Expect petrol to go up by between 43 cents and 46 cents a litre in July with diesel and illuminating paraffin by just six cents per litre, according to the Automobile Association (AA).

The increases come as a result of our weak currency and the AA warns that if we don’t see an upswing in our exchange rates soon, we can expect more increases, going forward.
