Refreshed Renault Captur premieres before Geneva

A runaway local sales success since debuting in 2015, Renault has now unveiled the facelifted Captur due to make its worlds debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week.

Taking inspiration from the new Scenic and Megane, the Captur receives a new grille, so-called Pure Vision LED headlights, a new front bumper with integrated daytime running LEDs, a choice of up to 30 colour combination for the body and roof, fixed panoramic roof, 16 or 17-inch alloy wheels, and at the rear, new LED lights and a redesigned bumper.

While no technical details were divulged, the Captur will most likely retain the same range of TCe petrol and dCi turbodiesel engines, consisting of a 0.9-litre three-pot with 66 kW and 135 N.m, a 1.2-litre four-cylinder with 88 kW and 190 N.m, and a 1.5-litre oil burner with 66 kW and 220 N.m.
