Rejuvenated Alpine A110 debuts before Geneva premiere

Easily one of the most intriguing models to be shown at next month's Geneva Motor Show, Renault-owned Alpine has unveiled the modern recreation of its legendary lightweight A110 sportscar.

Resembling the Vision Concept shown in Geneva last year and made mostly out of aluminium, the A110, apart from being the very first Alpine road car since the A610 left production in 1995, will utilise a mid-mounted, rear-wheel drive layout and powered by either a 1.8-litre or 1.6-litre turbocharged four-pot making between 184 kW and 221 kW.

Complete details will be revealed at Geneva.
