SA Car of the Year involved in recall


The reigning SA Car of the Year, the Porsche Macan is involved in a global recall, its producers recently announced. The sporty compact SUV’s maker Porsche announced that around 60 000 of these models would be recalled to check for what is describes as leaks in the low-pressure fuel line located within the vehicles engine.

The diesel models are not affected however the Macan S and Macan Turbo models would form part of the action.

In terms of local recall status, our Macan models are involved and customers will be notified on an individual basis. Porsche has stressed that this is being done as a precautionary measure, with no accidents or issues relating to this problem being reported.
