Of the twelve finalists a group of experienced motoring journalists must discern over a two-day testing period which vehicle rises above the rest as the overall winner. To be named as finalist in this competition makes each vehicle a winner of sorts; it means that within its segment it brings something special, something commendable and indeed something that the general public would benefit from, should they own one.
This year the group of finalists is perhaps less skewed towards performance as in previous years as we see an eclectic group of cars ranging from boutique hatchbacks through to large off-road-ready SUVs and many in-between. The more representative the vehicles are of the buying publics wants and needs the better the competition which is why we feel that this is a great year for the Autodealer brand to get involved in the competition.
What Autodealer as a brand has done with regards to the competition is run a feature on our website where we offer you, the public, information on each car in the competition as well as run-down of the updated rules and regulations. What we also felt was important was to have a poll on our COTY feature page where you get to vote for which one you feel should win based on the information presented to you and perhaps from your own experience with these vehicles.
