Sportage gets new fresh look

The third-generation Kia Sportage was crowned as the overall winner in the SUV and Crossover category in the Annual Standard Bank People’s Wheels Awards and as the cherry on top, it has been named as the one of the best-selling vehicles in its range. Now the third-generation Sportage received some enhancements.

The exterior enhancements - newly designed 17” and 18” alloy wheels, a moulded front grille that results in a stylish appearance, front fog lamps and lower bumper -increase the vehicles dynamic proposition. The redesigned rearlamps add a touch of sportiness to the rear. The upgraded Sportage is available in eight colours.

Other features include tweeter speakers, which are positioned to the quadrant cover to offer better sound reproduction. A newly designed 4.2-inch TFT LCD screen provides vehicle information and a 4.3-inch touch screen doubles as rear-view camera.

The Sportage is available with two engines: a 2.0 D-CWT petrol engine that generates power of 116kWand 192Nm of torque and 2.0 VGT CRDi that produce power of 130kW and 382Nm of torque. Both engines are available in six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

All models come standard with a 5-year/150 000km warranty, a 5-year/100 000km service plan and a 3-year/unlimited roadside assistance plan.
