For now known as the Viziv Performance Concept, the single teaser image released over the weekend shows the model incorporating a more aggressive appearance of Subaru's Dynamic x Solid styling language, with noticeable features being vented wheel arch extensions and a integrated boot spoiler.
No further details were released, but reports suggest it could introduce a range of autonomous tech on top of the brand's EyeSight driver assistance system.
In addition to the Viziv, the Tokyo based automaker has also taken the wraps off the limited edition BRZ STI Sport, it too expected make its official premiere at the Japanese showpiece.
Restricted to 100 units for Japan only with the allocated owners being selected via a lottery, the STI Sport features the same Cool Grey Khaki hue as the XV, black alloy wheels and red brake calipers, retuned suspension and a black and red interior with contrasting red stitching.
Like the Viviz, no technical details were announced, but as with sister brand's Toyota recently launched range of GR and GR Sport models, expect the STI Sport retain its 147 kW / 205 Nm 2.0-litre flat-four normally aspirated Boxer engine.
