The Polo Vivo Eclipse, still better than Twilight.

VOLKSWAGEN’S ever-popular Polo Vivo has lead sales charts for a number of months now with sales reaching a total number of around 175 000 units since its market introduction in March 2010. It seems as if Volkswagen is aiming to maintain that pattern by releasing a special edition of the Polo Vivo, the Eclipse.

This new Eclipse model features exclusive exterior enhancements, which can be distinguished by silver side mirror housings, stylish 16-inch Mistral alloy wheels, Eclipse badges at the back and side, lowered suspension and a chrome strip on the boot and side. The interior features include the centre console that is painted in steel graphite, partial leather on the steering wheel and gear lever and Global seat trim.

The Vivo Eclipse gets Volkswagen’s trusty little 1.4-litre engine, which develops 63kW and 132Nm of torque; power is sent to the front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
