Toyota Hilux fails "moose test"


Years ago we remember reporting on the fact that the previous generation Toyota Hilux and Fortuner models failed the "moose test" and it appears to have happened again in 2016.

For those unfamilar with this test it basically involves a sudden change of direction at a specified speed. This determines vehicle stability and safety in emergency situations. As we can see in the video below, the new Hilux seems to fail this test while key rivals from Volkswagen and Nissan pass at a higher speed.
