Volvo to introduce several upgrades

VOLVO has announced that will add revised versions of six of its models to its 2014 ranges.

The Volvo S60, V60, XC60, V70, XC70 and S80 will all receive new front and rear profiles. Equipment levels will also be enhanced, with all UK versions featuring DAB radio as standard, among others.

Optional items will include integrated exhaust pipes, active TFT driver display (as featured on the V40) and the addition of new safety equipment, such as the world-first Cyclist Detection.

The Volvo Special Vehicles Team Treatment will be applied to the R-Design derivatives of the S60, V60 and XC60. This adds a sport-inspired look and re-tuned chassis. The sports seats have also been redesigned to offer even more support, with additional bolstering while also showing off the new R-Design logo embroidered on the backrest.

Turning attention to the environment, the emissions of the V40, S60, V60, V70 and S80 fitted with the 1.6-litre D2 diesel engine have also been reduced.
