Flagship Kia Picanto goes automatic

09.01.2018

On sale since July last year, Kia Motors South Africa has released updated pricing for the Picanto, as well as the inclusion of a new automatic model.

Available until now only with a five-speed manual gearbox, the top spec 1.2 Smart joins the similarly powered  Start, Street and Style models in offering the option of a four-speed automatic 'box, with power kept unchanged 61 kW and 122 Nm of torque.

The same applies to standard spec with notable items such as seven-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth and USB, reverse camera, leather upholstery, four-speaker sound system, 15-inch alloy wheels, ABS with EBD and dual front airbags.

Like the rest of the Picanto range, the Smart auto comes with a five year / unlimited km warranty as standard with a service plan optional.
