Initially available only with a six-speed manual gearbox, the Ignite now gets a similar ratio self-shifter, with motive power and torque remaining unchanged at 114 kW and 192 Nm of torque. As before, drive is channelled to the front wheels.
Debuting between the Ignite and EX, the new Ignite Plus mirrors its lower spec sibling from a drivetrain perspective, but with a bump in standard spec to include 17-inch alloy wheels, front foglights, subtle exterior upgrades and an electrochromatic rear-view mirror.
Available solely in Ignite Plus spec, the new 1.7 CRDI turbodiesel punches out 85 kW and 280 Nm of torque, with drive also going to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.
Slotting in above the EX, the new EX Plus can be had with either the aforementioned petrol or a 130 kW / 400 Nm CRDI turbodiesel, with added standard kit consisting of 19-inch alloy wheels, electric front seats, reverse camera and a seven-inch touchscreen display with satellite navigation. A six-speed automatic remains the only gearbox option.
A five year / unlimited km warranty and five year / 90 000 km service plan are standard across the range.
