Carrying the internal codename C253 and measuring 76 mm longer in overall length and 37 mm lower than the regular GLC, the Coupe range now consists of three petrol and three turbodiesel engines, all connected to Benz's 9G-Tronic automatic box, with 4MATIC all-wheel drive standard all models.
Slotting in below the GLC 250 in the petrol line-up, the 300 again makes use of a 2.0-litre turbo but with 180 kW and 370 N.m as opposed to the former's 155 kW and 350 N.m. At the top end, the AMG-43 uses a 3.0-litre bi-turbo V6 with 270 kW and 520 N.m, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint of 4.9 secs and a top speed limited 250 km/h.
Supplementing the 220d and 250d in the diesel range, the new 350d sees the availability of a six-cylinder engine in the GLC range for the first time, with the single turbo 3.0-litre unit making 190 kW and 620 N.m.
As with the standard GLC, the coupe will be offered with a wide range of tech and safety options with buyers also able to chose from the AMG-Line, Night or Exclusive interior and exterior packages as well as a wide range of tech and safety items.
Along with its newfound looks, the GLC Coupe will also sport Benz's five mode DYNAMIC SELECT system; Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual, as well as AIR BODY CONTROL sport air suspension as standard with the latter offering three settings - Comfort, Sport and Sport+ - depending on preference.
A six year / 100 00 km maintenance plan is standard on all models.
