Nissan grows Navara range with new two-wheel drive models

Available since March last year but only with four-wheel drive, Nissan has upped its Navara model count from three to seven with addition of four two-wheel drive variants.

Like its four-wheel drive sibling, the 4x2 is again only offered as a double cab in SE and LE trim levels, with standard specification, dimensions and even the 229 mm ground clearance remaining unchanged. The same applies to the 3.5-ton braked trailer towing tow rating and the claimed payload of just over one-ton.

Up front, the two-wheel drive Navara keeps the familiar 2.3-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine that makes 140 kW and 450 Nm of torque, mated to either a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearbox.

A six-year / 150 000 km warranty and three-year / 90 000 km service plan are standard on all models.
