Riva yacht inspired limited edition Fiat 500 docks

Having been available in numerous special edition guises since its 2007 rebirth, Fiat has now teamed up with iconic Italian yacht manufacturer Riva to unveil a limited edition version of the retro-styled 500.

Inspired by the Aquariva and limited to just 20 units for South Africa, the 500 Riva features a special Sera Blue paint finish with contrasting aquamarine stripe running along the beltline, chrome mirror caps, door handles and bonnet trim, unique 20-spoke 16-inch alloy wheel with blue inserts and special Riva badging.

The bespoke touches continue inside with maple wood inlays and hand-painted mahogany, ivory coloured Poltrona Frau leather seats with Sera Blue piping and different tone ivory stitching, mahogany door sills and gear knob, Riva badges, ivory floor mats with Sera Blue stitching and a special boot mat with a wood insert.

Motivation remains unchanged from the standard 500 with the 900 cc TwinAir turbocharged two-cylinder petrol engine again producing 63 kW and 145 Nm of torque, and linked to either a five-speed manual or five-speed automated manual gearbox.

Pricing starts at R267 900 for the regular hatch and at R303 900 for the cabriolet, with a three year / 100 000 km warranty and maintenance plan standard on all models.
