This week's edition of High Octane Motorsport, which will be broadcast on Supersport 1 at 22:00 on Tuesday, 6 May will excite historic racing and modern day rally fans. -

- Round 1 of the Australian Rally Championship, the Forest Rally in West Australia, kicks off the show and includes some superb action and tough competition between the Group N4 Mitsubishi and Subaru teams followed by a preview of this weekend's Nissan Sugarbelt 400, round two of the SA Off Road Championship, presented by Bankfin, Ford, Nissan and Toyota, which gets underway in Eston near Pietermaritzburg on Friday, May 9 at 12:30.-

- The Tour de France Automobile, an event steeped in a rich tradition of racing, will delight historic racing buffs and lovers of classic cars. The Tour de France Automobile was first run in 1889 and in 1992 it became an historic rally event in which cars built between 1951 and 1973 may compete. 200 competitors from all over the world came to France to cover the original 4000 kilometre route featuring road racing, time trials and circuit racing. This event really does have it all and in capturing rare models such as the Matra 650, it gives the viewer a real insight into the racing lives of the rich and famous.-
