Friday, 17 October – GEROTEK TEST FACILITIES-

- 08:15 - 12:00 Weigh-in and Governor setting The engine governors are adjusted to 3 600 RPM by Briggs and Stratton personnel. -

- 08:40 - 16:00 Static adjudication The vehicles are evaluated by external adjudicators and marks are awarded for the design, driving comfort, safety, cost, etc. -

- 12:30 - 17:30 Acceleration / Top speed / Braking tests A composite track is used. The first 30.48m of the track is used to measure acceleration, thereafter, 61m is available to reach top speed. Finally, the braking distance is measured. -

- 12:30 - 17:30 Towing power The maximum towing power is measured by towing another vehicle. -

- 12:30 - 17:30 40% Incline climbing test The time taken to climb a 40% (22 degree) incline is measured. Steeper inclines of 50%, 60% and 70% can be climbed for bonus points. -

- Saturday, 18 October – ZWARTKOPS INTERNAL WORLD OF MOTORING-

- 09:00 - 11:00 Maneuverability Time taken to complete a maneuverability track (gravel surface) is measured. The vehicles are penalized for each cone knocked over and also for those missed. -

- 09:00 - 11:00 Obstacle course The time taken for the vehicle to negotiate a rough terrain obstacle course will be taken. Vehicles will be penalized for bypassing or not being able to cross an obstacle. -

- 11:00 - 11:30 Gridding for 4 hour endurance race Position based on acceleration time. -

- 12:00 - 16:00 hour endurance race starts-

- 16:30 - 17:30 Engine checking, finalization of scores, prize giving.
