Short course off road racing returns to Carnival City Casino situated near Brakpan on Saturday, August 9 and Gauteng motorsport fans can expect an action packed day of motorcycle, quad and car racing.

Organised by the Koepel Club the event will include sprint races for motorcycles, quads and cars on a specially prepared four kilometer course, which includes high speed sections, ski jumps and some very technical obstacles that will put man and machine to the test.

"We had a trial event in March and it proved to be very successful," said Clerk of the Course Willie Prinsloo. "The concept of multi-heat sprint races was popular with spectators and competitors and we expect a large entry on Saturday."

"Admission is free and Carnival City Casino will provide fast food outlets, a beer tent and portable ablution facilities."
