Just a warning, I have had my car for 15 months, I have 26 000 kilometers on the clock and the gear box has gone. The car is under warranty and they are refusing to fix it.

Hi Cathy. Its heart wrenching to hear stories like yours. There is a motor ombudsman that will investigate your matter.

Cathy are you sure it is the BOLT because it has not been around for 15 months. My mom recently bought one and she is ecstatic with it! Handles easily and LOW petrol consumption. So a thumbs up from this side!

I am using a 2017 Tata bolt sedan, There is an indicator for the passenger side airbag which must glow when the airbag is deactivated (according to the user manual) but the indicator is glowing when I activate it,I took the car to the Tata service centre at Pretoria fountain to check it and the technician told me that there is nothing wrong with the airbag, it's an error by Tata and all the bolt have the same complaint. If it's an error by Tata I think it's a serious error which must be resolved immediately because airbag is the most important safety measure, how can I ride it confidently when the indicator showing that the airbag is off? Dose anyone have the same complaint?

It would be advisable to request that the Agents do that airbag sensor light repair while under warranty. A roadworthy test centre will fail that vehicle with an airbag light on.

A 2017 model is under warranty. Get it sorted out before the vehicle ages. If the Bolt system works the other way around, then Ask your agent to write that in your service book and stamp it for any future road worthy tests the vehicle might have.

This is about the R999 payment advertised...is it real? How does it work?
