Volkswagen Polo Vivo Max Motoring Review
THE 2012 best-selling passenger car in South Africa, the Polo Vivo, has been expanded with the addition of the sized-up version named, Maxx.The Polo Vivo Maxx is only offered in the hatch body version and provides the driver with different interior and exterior features to differentiate itself from the rest of the range.
On the outside the new Vivo Maxx has raised suspension, 17-inch Budapest alloy wheels, painted exterior mirrors, twin exhaust tailpipes and aluminium roof rails. The inside has more features such as pedals with aluminium inserts, a centre console in titanium paint, front electric windows, manual air conditioner, three-spoke leather steering wheel with chrome insert and grey stitching, radio/CD/MP3/Bluetooth with four speakers and floor mats with grey stitching.
Under the hood, the Vivo Maxx is powered by the same 1.6-litre engine producing 77kW of power all of which is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. Standard safety and security features include driver and front passenger airbags, ABS with EBD as well as an immobiliser and central locking.
