Michael Schumacher says that BAR Honda and Renault will be the main stumbling blocks to his goal of scoring a record-breaking sixth grand prix win in a row for Ferrari on Sunday.

The six-times world champion will start in Monte Carlo with an 18 point lead over Ferrari team-mate Rubens Barrichello, but the German believes that either BAR's Jenson Button or Renault’s Fernando Alonso and Jarno Trulli could triumph this weekend.

Ferrari didn't dominate in Monaco last year - Schumacher finished third behind Juan-Pablo Montoya and Kimi Raikkonen.

"Last year we didn't seem to have that spark about us and this time at Monaco we want to do better," said Schumacher. "I see no reason why we shouldn't perform well in the Principality. However, I realise that, above all, BAR-Honda are in good shape. Monaco is little like Imola, and I seem to recall that they did really well there. Renault will also be a threat at Monaco."

Will the Renault team, known for producing lightning starts off the grid, upset Ferrari’s strategy? "We don't have any problems with starting," was Schumacher’s response. "We have analysed all the starts of the first five races and come to the conclusion that they are as good as the other teams, even though they don't seem to be, so I am not really worried too much about Monaco.
