It is expected that diesel with a sulphur content of 0,3 per cent would cost 20 cents a litre more, and that with 0,05 per cent sulphur 25 cents a litre extra.

The price of illuminating paraffin will go up by eight cents a litre on Wednesday.

The petrol price went up by 30 cents a litre earlier this month, while the wholesale prices for diesel and illuminating paraffin increased by 16 cents and 18 cents a litre respectively.
