Opel recently revealed its take on the iconic van used in the A-Team television series. And now German tuner ABT has come to the party, unveiling its version, based on the Volkswagen Caravelle T6.
Called the "DA Teambus", it was shown off at Wörthersee 2019.

The VW bus adopts the GMC Vandura’s black, red and grey colour scheme, along with an ABT aero package comprising redesigned front and rear bumpers, grille and side skirts, plus a cheeky rear wing. Adding to the aggressive look are four black exhaust extensions and 20-inch ABT Sport CR alloy wheels painted in red.

The bus isn’t just all show, though. Its 2,0-litre, four-cylinder turbodiesel engine gains an increase in oomph from the stock 150 kW and 450 N.m of torque to 173 kW and 490 N.m (thanks to the fitment of an ABT engine control unit). H&R sports suspension has also been added.

Displayed alongside the vehicle at Wörthersee was a special Golf R, sporting increased outputs of 257 kW and 440 N.m. The hot hatch is equipped with a similar black exhaust system and 20-inch alloy wheels, although the latter are painted in black.
