Vansports has released details of a new GeoTrek Edition package for the Mercedes-Benz V-Class.
Limited to just 10 units, this custom job transforms the German van into an off-road adventurer, complete with significant suspension upgrades and additional equipment.
Seeking a more adventurous look, Vansports has applied an aerodynamics kit which consists of a new front and rear apron and extended wheel arches. This look is topped off with “raptor” paintwork, incorporating mixed-in fibres on the front and rear aprons and stylised topographical contour lines. A set of Protect 1 side-step bars and a matte black roof-rack carrying a solar panel system, sand plate, storage box and spare wheel, round off the makeover.
The 4Matic all-wheel drive system is now complemented by a lift spring setup developed by Vansports, raising the ground clearance by 30 mm, while protection plates have been fitted to safeguard the engine, transmission and fuel tank. A set of 18-inch Krona off-road rims wrapped in 235/55 R18 General Grabbler tyres is also included.
In the cabin, the GeoTrek Edition sports leather upholstery with a diamond pattern for the front seats and rear bench. When the latter is folded flat, it accommodates a cold-foam mattress for those travelling over a number of days.
Building on the idea of long-distance travel are a number of cargo solutions, including two 1 170 mm heavy-duty pull-out drawers with a load capacity of 100 kg and a kitchen box with a 12-volt on-board outlet, suitable for preparing small meals.
