A fresh report out of South Korea claims the upcoming seventh-generation Elantra will be offered in full-fat N guise.
Interestingly, the report claims the rumoured four-door performance sedan variant – which is slated to wear the Avante N nameplate in its domestic market – will be available with either a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (the latter is, of course, expected to be rolled out to the i30 N at its upcoming facelift).
Earlier in March 2020, Hyundai revealed the first teaser images of the standard new Elantra, which is expected to be unveiled on March 17 in California. The firm says the newcomer will feature a “sporty four-door coupé look”, while being longer, lower and wider than its forebears.
