This dashcam footage from Latvia shows an SUV slam into the side of a Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder after the driver of the latter seemingly disobeyed a traffic sign.
Filmed in Latvian capital of Riga, the clip shows the purple Huracán Performante Spyder – one of a group of about 70 supercars apparently in the area for an event – pull into the intersection and stop directly in the path of the oncoming Volvo XC60.
The result? A collision that left the Italian model with some nasty damage to its flank. According to reports, the Lamborghini driver ignored a sign prohibiting left turns at the intersection.
For the record, the Spyder employs the firm's naturally aspirated 5,2-litre V10 engine, which sends 470 kW and 600 N.m to all corners via a permanent four-wheel-drive system. The result is a 0-100 km/h sprint in a claimed 3,1 seconds, with top speed pegged at 325 km/h.
